A backyard sports court will become the focal point of a family's activities. It only makes sense that the best products and services be used. Whether your yard is large, small, or somewhere in between, we have the perfect court for you. Choose from a wide variety of options to best suit the size of your yard and your budget.
What is a good size for a home game court?
Typically, 30' x 60' is a good, half court basketball/pickle ball court size.
Is asphalt or concrete the best sub-surface?
We recommend concrete on courts less than 2,000 square feet. However, even on Tennis Courts and larger, concrete is recommended as long as it is post-tensioned. Concrete is, however, more expensive than asphalt.
How much does a home court cost?
There are too many variables to provide an accurate cost estimate without seeing the location (grading, site preparation, budget) and discussing specific equipment and surfacing.
What sports & games?
Tennis, Basketball, Pickle Ball, Short Tennis, Volleyball, Four-Square, Hop-Scotch, Badminton, Shuffle Board, just to name a few.
What size is a tennis court?
The United States Tennis Court and Track Builders' Association recommends 60' x 120'. The minimum size is 55' x 110'.
What is a typical playing surface for a tennis court?
The typical "hard court" surface is an acrylic and sand mixture applied in three to four coats. We recommend Plexipave® by California Products.
What about sports lights?
Depending on the size of the court, the poles will be 15', 17' or 23' high with one or two bulbs on each pole. Typically, one light will work well for a 30'x60' court, 110 or 220 are available depending on your requirements and electrical source. (We do not provide electrical.)
How much does a tennis court cost?
It depends on the surface, lighting and fencing options of the court. We provide free estimates. Call us today to set up an appointment with an estimator.
What about surfacing?
For true, multi-purpose and safety we recommend Plexipave®, Plexicourt®, and Plexicushion® by California Products. The most economical quality surface is Plexipave®. This is the same surface you see at your local high school and public park tennis and basketball courts. What about cracks? Except for post-tensioned concrete, all surfaces will crack eventually. Concrete typically cracks sooner than asphalt. Crack repairs usually don't last longer than a year unless a bridge and mesh system such as Armor Crack Repair is used.

Sealcoating extends the life of your asphalt by protecting the pavement from moisture, chemicals and ultraviolet oxidation. Sealcoating improves the appearance of the asphalt by giving it a uniform color while filling minor pores and voids in the surface. Sealcoating also gives sharp contrast to curbing and new pavement markings and increases skid resistance. PermaSeal HD pavement sealer is mixed and distributed from our processing plant and then applied by sprayer or machine squeegee by our experienced staff. PermaSeal HD is recommended for parking lots, walkways, residential driveways, playgrounds, drive-in commercial establishments and other non-highway asphalt surfaces. We recommend that asphalt be sealcoated every 3 to 5 years depending on traffic and overall condition of the asphalt.

Water is the number one cause of pavement deterioration. Cracks allow water to enter and deteriorate the sub-grade and surface of the asphalt. The moisture will expand when it freezes and this can cause alligatoring (interconnected cracks in the asphalt surface) and potholes in your parking lot or driveway. You can keep moisture out by keeping your cracks filled and sealed. We remove all debris and vegetation in the cracks and install hot pour crack sealant. Our high quality crack sealer is highly elastic and has the ability to expand and contract with thermal movements in the extremes of summer and winter.
Repair techniques include skin patch overlays that can include geotextile fabric, removal and replacement, and complete asphalt overlays. We pave areas such as residential driveways, private roads, airports and shopping center parking lots, just to name a few. The benefits of new pavement include improved dust control, enhanced safety such as minimized tripping hazards and reduced maintenance time. The aesthetics of a clean, smooth driving surface also enhances the property's appearance. Asphalt repair techniques include skin patch overlays that can include geotextile fabric, removal and replacement, and complete overlays as shown below.

Striping is the first thing that customers, clients and visitors see when they first view your facility. A well-designed lot gives the appearance of symmetry while enhancing the property's overall image. Whether it's re-striping or laying out a new lot, we provide precise, professional looking results with properly placed parking stalls, arrows, handicapped stalls, and other driver directives.
